The goal of the project is that the Single women are empowered socially, economically, emotionally and exercise their rights to live with human dignity, self respect and self reliance.
Key Activities executed during the reporting year:
- F Sixty single women living in the villages of TSSS jurisdiction were given financial support for starting their new income generation initiatives.
- F Ten single women availed loan from the micro-project supported by Caritias India and purchased milch animals and goats for their livelihood development.
- F The revolving funds of Manos Unidas, Spain too was of great support to single women to involve in multifarious income generating and entrepreneurial activities. Many single women involve in goat rearing, milch animal rearing, running petty shops, flour grinding business, idly shops, tailoring, char-coal making, production of vermi-compost and other viable initiatives in their native villages.
