Veerama Munivar Siddha Hospital at Sankarankoil has been functioning successfully for nearly two decades. Two professionally qualified doctors are appointed to strengthen the Hospital and its service delivery.

Herbal Exhibition cum Medical Camps: 

In order to propagate the use of herbal cum indigenous medicines, TSSS took strenuous effort to generate awareness among the public through medical camps and exhibitions.

LICENSE TO SIDDHA UNIT: 

TSSS has renewed the license for running the Siddha Pharmacy at Sankarankoil. The State Drug Licensing Authority, Indian Medicine has issued the license for a period of three years starting from 30.03.2010 to 29.03.2013 to carry out treatment cum production of SIDDHA medicines. This will help us innovate and produce new medicines and reach out to the public easily with authenticity.  

Free Acupuncture Clinic – Cure without Medicines!

Acupuncture is one of the best-known alternative therapies. Acupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes. 

         
  • Acupuncture stimulates the release of pain-relieving endorphins, influences the release of neurotransmitters, substances that transmit nerve impulses to the brain and the autonomic nervous system
  • Acupuncture stimulates circulation and influences the electrical currents of the body 

TSSS encourages this alternate treatment system.  This alternate system gives solution to health problems without any intake of medicines. A special clinic for Acupuncture Treatment was established at TSSS’ premise in Palayamkkottai on 30.09.2009.

The specialist in Acupuncture visits the clinic every Monday and Friday of the week and treats the out patients. On an average, 25 patients avail the free treatment. So far around 1200 people have benefited from the clinical care. TSSS provides all necessary infrastructures for running the clinic. Treatment service is offered free of cost.
