ADOPTION CELL (VIDIYAL COUNSELLING CENTRE)

The adoption programme “VIDIYAL” (Meaning Dawn) was launched in 2002 for caring children from 0 – 6 years. We have so far rescued 182 babies in difficult circumstances and brought peace and happiness to 118 families longing to see the smile and hear the voice of a child.  118 parents were given children in adoption. The donor Antheri Hilfe in Germany sponsored the programme.  Special care is given to the babies at the Home and nuns who work round the clock with commitment are managing it. Professionally qualified nurses are engaged in caring the babies. Proper medical treatment and check up is given.  In addition, follow-up of babies given in adoption and counseling to the prospective parents are special features of our service. The focus groups of our rescue and rehabilitation activities include,

  •  Abandoned Babies
  • Surrendered Babies
  • Babies of unwed mothers
  • Differently-abled babies
